49 and 47-year-old property owners shut down unrelenting friends after they repeatedly try to invite themselves over for vacation at their lake house: 'He finally got a hint'

Some of us seek the outdoors to get away from it all, while others chase the serenity that comes with nature. For this particular couple, their lake house was not only an investment in their outdoorsy well-being but a refuge from their bustling everyday lives. 

They would never let their friends—regardless of their 15-year friendship—demolish the quiet solitude of their abode. Strictly following their own boundaries of socialization, they were able to thwart the imposing efforts of their friends and fight back against their pushy demands.
